Hand, foot and Paw print jewellery.

These kits are ink free and user friendly. You will receive 2 x A4 sheets of magic paper and one inkless wipe. No print is too big! There is no limit to the size of print that we can use. We may be able to use prints that you already have, just let us know and we will be able to advise on the suitability.

The kit contains all that you need to take your prints but if something goes wrong and you don’t get the print that you want you may need to purchase a new printing kit. This rarely happens and please get in touch with us first so we can check your print on our system and see what we can do.

Our designers will ensure that the prints retain their uniqueness so the print will appear on your jewellery exactly as they are taken. Please don’t worry about any smudges around the print these can be removed during the making process.

Fingerprint jewellery.

As stated in our fingerprint jewellery descriptions this sometimes it isn’t suitable for everyone. The fingerprints of babies are generally not very well defined, and we would not recommend fingerprint jewellery for little ones less than a year old. This can also be true for the elderly, infirm or those in certain professions.

Our designers will ensure that the prints retain their uniqueness and the most interesting section of the fingerprint will be used on the jewellery. We use a special process to make sure that we capture the best of the print. All of the detail will be left in the print including any cracks, work ridges or breaks in the print. These are all part of the person and add to the uniqueness of the print. Please don’t worry about any smudges around the print these can be removed during the making process.

If you are unsure about whether a fingerprint will be suitable its best to check before placing your order. There are a few ways that you can check.

Firstly, you can start by just looking at the tips of the fingers. Chances are if they are not visible then they won’t make a good print!

Ink Pad: Gently place the finger on the ink and print onto paper. You will be able to see how well the print appears. This is similar to how we capture your prints, but our ink has very fine pigments to get the best print possible. If you don’t have an ink pad, then you can use an ordinary graphite pencil that you have at home.

Pencil: Scribble the pencil onto a piece of scrap paper until a small section is covered. Rub the finger on the pencil dust and then use clear tape to lift the dust from the fingertip. Stick the tape on some white card and you should be able to see the unique patterns of the fingerprint.

Just get in touch with us and we will be able to advise whether we think the print will be suitable when taken with our print kits.

As well as babies’ other fingerprints can prove to be tricky. People in many professions or hobbies wear down their fingerprints over the years. This can be true for elderly or poorly people as well. If the fingerprints won’t come out clearly, try one or more of these techniques:
